Why pay to go on a catamaran tour when you can see turtles right off of shore in the bay?

Right off of Kapalua Bay you can see a ton of turtles! Traveling to Hawai'i the first time I paid to go on boat tours to have this experience, when I returned I swore I would never pay again. Seeing sea turtles in their natural environment is super rad, but remember to not touch them! You are a visitor in their home. This spot is very popular so I would go early to get a nice spot to lay on the beach and decent parking. Additionally, bring fins so you don't get reef cuts!
