A beginner-friendly hike takes you to the spectacular Toccoa Falls.

Park at the welcome center of Toccoa College.

The trailhead is behind the welcome center, starting at the gates to the right of the center. The trail takes you along a creek on a gravel trail. After a short distance, you will reach Toccoa Falls, where the water pours off the rocks from over 180 feet high in a free-fall to a pool below.

There are also beautiful butterflies that are often flying around the flowers that line the trails during spring and summer. They are a great photographing opportunity as well.

Toccoa falls is located on a college campus. After parking at the visitors center, go inside and there may be a small fee to see the falls. The falls are located behind the visitor center after a short walk. The falls are breathtaking.
