One of the many trails around Cumberland Falls, Eagle Falls trail has not only 1, but 2 gorgeous waterfalls, amazing rock faces, and spectacular views.
The trailhead is positioned right next to the top of Cumberland falls. As you begin the hike, you walk past Cumberland Falls, and begin elevation. The trail elevates for quite some time, then changes and descends towards the river again. All along the trail are beautiful rock faces and overhangs that have their own mini waterfalls and pools. There are various point during the hike that have beautiful scenic views, and even some views of Cumberland Falls. When the trail finally descends all the way to the river, it brings you across a beach, and next to giant boulders. The end of the trail dumps out to the beautiful Eagle Falls. The pool is bright blue in color, and surrounded by more very large boulders. It's magical down there.
