My husband and I decided to hike this trail since we go to the park daily during our vacations to Clearwater. I knew we would see a ton of wildlife, and I feel responsible to inform anyone who isn’t familiar with the area. So. Many. Snakes. And gators. Just a huge amount in this slice of the backcountry. If you’re at all squeamish about dinosaurs or wiggle-sticks, this is not the hike for you.
