Great place with awesome rock formations. Rattlesnake Canyon is a great hiking hike as well with some rock scrambling to get to some of the pools. The pools only have water in them in the spring with some rainfall.

Love camping there. The rock formations are stunning. Rattlesnake Canyon is a great place to hike in the spring as well - it is at the east end of the campground and requires some rock scrambling to get to the pools that have water in them if there is good rainfall.

It was truly amazing watching the horses run out to pasture and you are right - it is an authentic "Old West" feeling!
