Clear Waters of Plitvice Lakes

We decided to stay a few KM away fromt he national park and didn't have a car, all good, we decided to walk up the hill to the park entrance, half way there we get picked up by the park ranger who kindly gives us a lift... we knew we were in for a good day already.

On entry we walked on through and you get the most amazing view of the cascading waterfalls and perfect limestone pools/lakes.

There is a well maintained boardwalk that lets you wind your way through the ponds and see the place from every angle possible.

Bring your camera, it is worth it!!

We went in peak season and the crowds get pretty gnarly thanks to the bus loads of people brought in. Get there early to avoid the mad rush!
