Being in nature doesn't require much effort.
I was having one of those days where I needed my fix of nature but I didn't want to expert too much effort.
I headed to Prospect Ponds in Fort Collins Colorado to get in my daily dose of outdoors.
The early morning was crisp and foggy and I was excited to capture it. The parking lot was big and easy to find.
I headed out on the trail and walked along two beautiful lakes. The trail was super flat and would be perfect for jogging.
There was no one there besides me and one lonely fisherman.
I assume it was a popular fishing spot because of all the signage around regarding catch and release policy.
My visit was quick and I my mission was to take pictures and so, was successful.
I highly recommend this trail for a mild trail run or relaxed adventurers. Especially in the fall these ponds are beautiful.
