This is my favorite waterfall I've seen in Washington so far. It's an easy and quick stop that doesn't require much effort. The walk to the fall is very short, but you have to climb on some rocks to get to the swimming hole at the bottom. One side of the swimming hole is shallow and one side is deep, perfect for actually swimming. The water wasn't too cold when we went either. I loved this place and will definitely be going back.

We drove to this location thinking we were going to be hiking up. We quickly realized by reading signs that you can actually drive to the top of the view points instead of hiking. We didn't end up hiking, and I'm glad we didn't. The views wouldn't have been worth the hike to me. If was pretty, don't get me wrong..but not for the effort if you can just drive to the top. I like the view to be the reward at the end of a hike & I just wasn't that impressed. There's also quite a bit of people because you can drive to the top. I would recommend driving to the top of this one if you're going and find a different hike if you want to actually hike up. There is a very pretty direct view of Rainer though.

If you're a local, this would be a good walk for exploring on a boring Sunday. We drove 2 hours to see the falls and weren't that impressed. I wouldn't suggest driving to see it. There's a lot of people due to the fact that it's a known and posted location. The hike was very very short, I don't know that it could even be considered a hike. It took us less than an hour to walk there, see the falls and hang out by the creeks, and walk back. The waterfall was very pretty, just not worth the drive I don't think.
