While not the biggest waterfall in the area, the hike is great and it has a unique charm to it. Especially when the rains increase the flow over the falls. There are multiple campsites about 75 yards or so from the falls. Beware of the bridge just before the falls (hiking towards Laurel Fork Falls). Got stung twice by hornets as we crossed. Campsites are great albeit some of them a little small so make sure your tent fits. I used this waterfall as an introduction to backpacking for my 9 year old son and we both had a blast.
