Hike to Goblin's Lair and Carmel Canyon

I loved this park. Smaller, funky in the middle of nowhere and totally unique. Nice for hiking and photography. Plenty to see and explore off trail as well. Make sure you check out the goblins lair cave!

Hoh Rainforest and Hall Of Mosses

Hoh rainforest is beautiful and this looptrail really showcases it. It was a bit short for my liking, but there are longer trails nearby so you’re able to pack multiple hikes into the day or half day. Nice trail for a quick run.

Camp at Sage Creek Campground

I’ve been to this campground twice. The second time I drove 50 miles out of the way just to get back to it. It’s way out there in the middle of nowhere, which I think is great. Buffalo roam the area and will likely be strolling by your car/tents in the middle of the night, so be prepared for that. I liked the ability to just start walking on a backcountry hike. Not hard to get lost if you use the river or ridge line for reference. Overall a very beautiful area, and well worth the off rode drive to get there.

Relax at Honokohau Beach

Had a blast hanging out at this beach. One of my first snorkel trips on the island. In retrospect, it wasn’t the best but defiantly worth checking out. Decent paths nearby to run on too.
