Even though it rained for the whole weekend, the trail it's self was a beautiful trial and very well maintained. Me and a group from Georgia Southern went on a weekend backpacking trip to the falls. The trail had great elevation change that allowed for some great views. The trail was very busy though. I've never crossed paths with so many people while hiking before.

Me and my cross country team stopped by here on our way to a summer camp. It had very nice hills with wonderful elevation change for running. After we worked up a sweat we took a swim which was equally enjoyable. All around a very nice place.

If you are in town I highly recommend this short hike to see this amazing waterfall. Me and my family have been twice and it seemed like two different experiences since we went once in the spring and once in the fall. It is paved so if you are looking for a challenging hike this is not the trail for you.

I went on a climbing/backpacking trip with Georgia Southern to this site. It had amazing views along with great climbing for beginner natural rock face climbers like me. The trail was a little tough with a lot of elevation change, but who doesn't like a good challenge.

This was a very fun weekend hike me and a buddy of mine did the spring of 2015. The hike had many switchbacks that made great views, and the elevation change let you experience both mountain tops and the lakes underneath. I highly recommend an overnight stay on the fairly decent campgrounds.
