Beautiful easy hike to the Canyon Trail Waterfall Lookout
Near the visitor centre of the Kokannee Creek Provincial Park, a path starts from the extreme right of the parking lot called 'Canyon Trail'. The path follows the Kokanne Creek for ~ 1 km with a gradual incline all the way to the Cayon Trail Lookout. Here you will find a gorgeous waterfall! The trail does not have much signage, but the path is very well used. As long as you are following the creek and going uphill you are on the right path. Take the same path back or connect to one of the other trails in this park (Pine Trail or Woodland Loop). There is over 9.5km of hiking trails altogether in the park. Trail maps can be found of the BC Parks website (link below).
