Description

The Ladner Creek Trestle is a great day trip for people wanting an easy "hike" to a great place to take pictures. Visit this old Trestle for a scenic blast from the past.

Finding where the trailhead starts is the hardest part of this adventure. If you are coming from Vancouver, you must cross the Ladner Creek Bridge and then make a U-turn at the next exit. Then head back towards the Ladner Creek Bridge and take a right onto a gravel road immediately before you get back onto the bridge. Like literally the second before you get back onto the bridge.

Once you turn onto the gravel road, park your car right there and the trailhead is up the hill to the right. Follow this trail for about 1.5km, climbing over the collapsed tunnel, and you will reach the trestle.

I highly recommend going early morning to see the fog rolling around the trestle and through the trees.
