Explore Cypress Cabins
West Vancouver, British Columbia
Description
Added by Alayna Michelle
Cypress Mountain has over a hundred hidden cabins in the forest. Dog and Family-friendly, the cabins are available to the public to be photographed and explored. However, some cabins are not available to be inside. A very easy walk is well worth the mystery of the hike. Half of the fun is exploring the forest and discovering each of the cabins.
Going up the main road to Cypress Mountain (Cypress Bowl Rd, It's the direct route to the ski resort) The road will take a full 180 turn around to a road down to The Cypress Mountain Hollyburn Nordic Area as pictured in this link: https://www.google.ca/maps/pla...
Take the turn and drive through the Nordic Area, all the way down, the road will naturally end in a parking lot.In the far left of the parking lot the trail begins. From that point on, there are over one hundred cabins in the trail. There is an abandoned Ranger Station and a long board walk if you can find it. All of the cabins are visible from google maps.
