Lake Agnes//Mirror Lake//Teahouse

Starting at the trail head (Elev. 1731m) the trail is a very steady incline the entire way up the mountain; could be considered as long switch backs. It's a very rewarding hike/walk up the mountain.

As you make your way up the mountain you get a beautiful view of Lake Louise the entire way. No matter the kind of day - sunny or gloomy - you still get to experience the beautiful crystal blue water.

You get to Mirror lake first, which is a beautiful blue lake with some picnic tables around and benches. There is a couple maps near the lake that show some other paths around the area you may take. We decided to take the left path up to the tea house.

The left path was quite steep and very rocky up to the top, where the teahouse is located.

Lake Agnes is located at the top, right by the teahouse where you are able to sit at picnic tables or benches and enjoy the view on both sides - on one side you have Lake Agnes, on the other you have Lake Louise; breath taking.

The teahouse is a beautiful old rustic looking building where you are able to purchase looseleaf tea that they serve to you from a wood burning stove. Make sure you bring cash if you want to get something, there is no power at the top. They also have some snacks up there as well.

On the way down we went on the side we had not come up and there is a little waterfall coming off the mountain with a great view, again of Lake Louise. The path then connects back to Mirror Lake and back down the mountain on the same path.
