Climbing two different waterfalls and swimming beneath them after a short but exciting hike to get there!
This is a very short hike to two waterfalls: Upper & Lower Beamer Falls. There is no maintained trail from the parking lot, which adds a little fun to the adventure, although you can easily follow the foot path in the grass and dirt.
From the parking lot you will notice a worn in path leading down towards the sound of the falls. Follow this path carefully, it is steep and you will need to hold onto trees to help yourself down at some parts. Once you've reached the bottom you will immediately see Upper Beamer Falls! This is a 45 meter high cascading waterfall that, during most seasons, is easy and fun to climb to the top of. Once you've had your fun at the Upper falls, follow the stream down until you reach the top of Lower Beamer Falls. To get to the bottom of this one, follow the foot path down the side and again be careful and you will definitely need to use trees to support yourself down. Once you've gotten to the bottom though this waterfall is great for swimming!
Overall, this is a short hike with a great swimming spot at the end. There's usually nobody else there and the parking lot is small, secure, and free!
