This one I really wanted to share with you because I also usually don’t go back to do a hike three times in a row, because I am all about discovering new spots and places. Well if you remember the foggy days we had in Vancouver earlier this month, you’d know it was every hikers dream to get lost in the forest during those days. It adds to the “mischievous” feeling of the “getting lost” factor. Well long story short, or short story medium, I got to the end of this trail, and it blew my FREAKIN mind. I took out my phone to take a picture, and TADA my phone is of course dead. Because it loves doing that whenever I lose myself in the forests, every single fucking time it does that. So I didn’t manage to capture the beauty that laid at the end of this trail. So I had to go back, and go back I did, two more times. The second, I came equipped with a go-pro, a SLR, and of course my phone that died AGAIN when I got the end of the trail. I decided to go back the third time on a sunny day to see how different the trail would be, and it was a nice surprise to see what laid behind the fog. When I got the island, I was amazed by the mountains in the backdrop, it was serene, beautiful, and well… sentimental. If I was to give you the advice of doing this trail, try it on a foggy day for your first time, and go back on a sunny day, its quite the experience.
