This adventure is amazing because you can escape the city in 2 hours and a half and get to experience sometthing beyond amazing in the wildlife. The sunset is breathtaking, and the campsites are amazing and private. You feel isolated in the most beautiful way! Everywhere you look is beyond amazing, like it's too good to be true!You get to canoe, hike, camp, bond with your friends, family, or significant other. In the end of the day, everyone is going to connect with mother nature in their own way!

Want to get away from the busy city? Tired from hearing all the sirens, cars, and construction noises? Want to absorb the sun and enjoy the calm and beauty of our nature?

Then La Mauricie National Park, Quebec is the sweet escape for you. Head out with your favorite peeps to the forest and spend the weekend there exploring. So here are some tips on what to do and what to take with you.

What to do:

1- Click on this link to register and choose the camp site you wish to camp on http://www.pc.gc.ca/eng/pn-np/qc/mauricie/activ/activ2.aspx

2- Rent a car

3- Buy groceries and equipments that you need for the camp

4- When you arive to the National Park there’s an information desk you have to stop at and check in

5- Then drive few minutes until you reach a parking lot and then carry your items and walk 5 minutes until you reach a canoe-rental place

(Canoe fits 2 people and the equipments and bags or 3 people with nothing else)

6- As soon as you reach the campsite prepare the tent and start a fire

Take into consideration that :

1- There’s a fire place ( they provide you with wood at the campsite)

2- There’s a toilet ( but you need to get your toilet paper)
