Description

Added by Mike Anderson

An awesome 2 hour hike that leads to an incredible lake that is beautiful both in the summer and winter time.

This 3.4 km round trip hike will take you up approximately 300 metres to the lake. The lake is glacier fed and can be very cold, however this can be incredibly refreshing in the summer.

Depending on the time of year you will need to dress according to the weather. If you are going just for the day then a backpack with sunscreen, a lunch, hat, and sunglasses. Make sure to also bring good shoes and lots of water. If staying overnight then I would recommend bringing a tent (there are tent pads at the lake) and all the provisions one would need in order to stay the night. Be aware that there are only a limited number of spots at the lake and there is no fee to use them, so they may already be in use when you arrive.
