We began this hike from the trailhead in Lions Bay. You are also able to reach Brunswick Mountain via the Howe Sound Crest Trail beginning on Cypress Mountain, however it is a much longer hike. The first part of the trail from Lions Bay is an old logging road, but quickly you veer off to the left (marked with flagging tape).
The trail begins to steepen right away. At the next fork, take a right and follow the switchbacks through the forest for several hours. The final ridge is a steep ascent over loose rocks and boulders, so be cautious with your foot placement. Enjoy lunch and views from the top!
There are camping options if you choose to extend this hike over a couple days or link up with the rest of the Howe Sound Crest Trail.
