Hike Mt. Cheam
Fraser Valley E, British Columbia

Scenic meadowsYou pass by several alpine lakes360º views
There is only a short time-frame this hike is doable: mid July-August. I did it mid July on a hot day & there was still snow, but it was do-able. Make sure you have a 4x4 to get to the trail-head, as it is quite the drive to the parking lot.
Right from the beginning of the trail you are rewarded with beautiful views, as the whole trail is in the alpine meadows. Spoon Lake will come into view shortly into the trail, so bring a swimsuit on a hot day! Apparently in August the meadows bloom with wildflowers.
360º views at the top of the whole Fraser Valley- unbelievable. 7000ft up.
I have done a lot of hikes in the lower mainland and this one is in my top 2.
