We got lost trying to follow the directions in the post. So, make sure you follow the trail all the way until you get to a roundabout made of grass. There, the trail splits, so take the trail to the far right. The cave is kind of hidden in the hillside, and I wasn't expecting so much climbing, but it was a lot of fun. There were lots of pigeons in the cave. Definitely a good time scrambling up the rocks inside the cave. Make sure you wear shoes with decent traction

Came here to hike to the top, but saw lots of rock climbers bouldering, doing top rope, and rappelling! Would love to come back for the climbing aspect.

This is a really fun trail! You get to use your hands a lot to keep balance. There are a lot of different trails heading to the top, and it can be hard to keep track of where you are. I just recommend picking a route and sticking with it until you eventually get to higher elevation. The views from the top are nice and there are large boulders you can climb on for great pictures. Just be careful and make sure you have a route to get down before you climb up.

There is parking on the side of Topanga Canyon Blvd, but it is a VERY busy street. We walked down to where the trail is supposed to start and attempted to follow the map, which shows a trail on the left side of Stoney Point. However, pretty soon there was no distinguishable trail and we were stepping through bushes. We went back to the "entrance" and ended up going to the right of the mountain and meeting up with the "Stoney Point via North End" trail. Would definitely recommend starting with that trail in the first place!

I love spooner’s cove. The beach is made of pebbles, not sand, which I love. There’s a big rock to scramble on (make sure you wear shoes with traction if you plan on going to the top). Overall great place!

This is a hike with a majestic view of the ~very~ nice Porter Ranch houses. Kind of dusty trail but that is expected. Cool sunset views.

I came for sunset but I think it’s best to experience sunrise here. I followed the directions in the post and there’s a big hill with houses in the west direction so the sun is blocked. I would definitely come back for sunrise as the view to the east is unobstructed. This view of the surrounding houses and neighborhood is beautiful!
