Devil's Bridge Trail in Sedona, Arizona
Sedona, Arizona
Description
Added by Beau Leone
A beautiful trail that showcases the incredible red rocks of Sedona. There are a few different vistas that each offer tremendous views.
This out & back trail gains 630 feet of elevation in 4.4 miles. I would rate this hike as easy-intermediate. Try and get out early because parking is often limited.

Hike to the Birthing Cave
The hike is an easy one, flat and not too long. In the spring you'll see lots of flowers. Note, the popularity of this Sedona cave has grown in the past year, so you will most likely encounter other hikers and mountain bikers.
You start from the Long Canyon Trailhead, and I recommend going early in the morning, as the trailhead parking fills quickly.
A half mile in, you’ll reach a fork in t...
Devil's Bridge via Mescal Trail
The Devil's Bridge trail head itself is accessible via a road meant for 4x4s, which your average car cannot handle. The best way around this is to park at the Mescal Trail on Long Canyon Road. You'll follow the Mescal Trail then make a left onto the Chuckwagon Trail. From there, you'...

The Mescal Trail is 2.4 miles long and winds up to the base of the mesa where it travels along beautiful open slick rock. It is an easy hike but the trail is also open to mountain bikers. For them, the trail is rated difficult to moderate. There are a few di...

Brins Mesa - Soldier Pass Loop
This loop starts from Vultee Arch Rd. Important to note that doing this loop from here requires a high clearance 4x4. In this direction, the trail starts off flat and crosses a dry creek bed several times. The trail is relatively easy to follow. This section passes through junipers that offer some shade. Eventually, the trail begins to climb exiting the creek bed and junipers. After about one m...
