With anything in life, people are often lazy and not prepare or don't want to go do anything adventurous if there are any preparation involved, Havasu Falls is one of those beautiful places where it is hard to get to and involves some planning. My goal was to check this off my bucket list of places that I wanted to experience in real life and to try my best to take some pictures.

Couple of friends and I were interested in this waterfall, particularly due to it's Turquoise colored water. We decided on Christmas weekend that we would go because it fits our schedules. First of all, we are from Socal so anything under 60 F is considered freezing to us. Preparation is key and keeping watch of the weather conditions are vital, and it happened to snow the day before our trip.

Getting there:Hualapai Hilltop, AZ is where you park your car and where the trail head begins.

The Hike:From Hualapai Hilltop to Supai is roughly 8 miles, first 1.5 miles are descending from the plateau, and the rest are rocky/dirt trails that gradually descend towards the village. From Supai village to Havasu Falls is roughly 2 miles descending and Havasu falls to Mooney is another mile.On the way back it is a gradual ascend, not noticeable, be prepared for the last 1.5 miles up to the Hilltop.
