Born and raised British girl living in Salt Lake City, Utah. Love climbing, hiking and otherwise exploring my new mountain home, and re-watching Lord of the Rings.

Great quick out and back trail to some waterfalls in Little Cottonwood Canyon. Moderately trafficked. Several people rock climbing by the falls - which we will definitely check out next time we head that way.

Well worth doing if you're in or around Monterey. Suitable for all levels. Watching the sealions sunbathe and frolic in the harbor is an absolute must.

Nice mild and accessible hike in Big Cottonwood Canyon. Fairly heavily trafficked trail - even on a Thursday afternoon - but still worth doing. There's still a fair amount of snow and slush on the ground so it can get slippery in some sections.
