The Great PNW Adventure

Zion Freeman

A quick highlight of the trip.

I really don't think there's a better experience than taking a road trip with a bunch of your friends and exploring a place you've never been to before.

I'm not a writer, and I'm definitely not good at writing, but this experience in the PNW has done the impossible, make me sit down and write willingly.

Around the beginning of last summer, a friend and I sat down at an In-n-Out, our go-to place for planning trips. We decided we wanted to do something big, and for us, a two week road trip to Washington was the way to go. Irvine, CA to wherever in Washington, a total of 1,180 miles, almost the whole span of the west coast.

Our plan was to stop at as many scenic spots we could in our two weeks on the road. And I think we accomplished that. Hiking through heat, rain, chest deep freezing water, we did it all. Speaking on behalf of the other three guys I embarked on this trip with (and another we met up with in Portland), I guarantee you we would do it again in a heartbeat.

Here are a few of my favorite spots/shots throughout The Great PNW Adventure:

Oneonta Canyon Falls

Big Four Ice Caves

Snoqualmie Falls

These are only a few of my favorite spots throughout the whole two week road trip. I've been posting many more pictures on my Instagram (@zrfeeman), and I have many more coming! Thanks for the read, hope these pictures make you want to plan our own road trip to the PNW.

There is no better feeling than summiting a mountain or propelling yourself through a wide body of water. It's almost therapeutic. The crunching sound of a foot landing on the earth.
