Lost Claim Campground is a popular yet tranquil campground, located in a lovely forest, with serene background sounds of the rushing Tuolumne River.

Lost Claim Campground is extremely popular with visitors to Yosemite National Park, sitting just 15 miles northwest of the park boundary. Visitors to Lost Claim Campground can enjoy all that Yosemite has to offer - along with the amazing wilderness of Stanislaus National Forest. The campground provides access to the Little Golden Forest Trail, a half-mile loop with options to extend your walk. The Tuolumne river boasts world-class fishing.

Lost Claim Campground is typically open from May - September, weather dependent. Some of the sites are ADA accessible. The campground has a firewood vendor and a trash collection site. The fee is $19 for a single family site. The campground provides potable water and vault toilets. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. Pets are welcome at Lost Claim. You can reserve Lost Claim Campground in advance.
