spacious camp grounds-there are other people in the area, but we could barely even hear the other sites.2.no reservations-this can be good or bad, but during peak seasons when all other sites are books, first come first serve can work to your advantage3.the view-i love the eastern sierra's and waking up to seeing the mountains is always awesome

After a few days in Tahoe and Mammoth, we headed down the 395 to meet some buddies for camping and were pleasantly surprised to find them at this beautiful campground. We had just ridden at Mammoth for it's last day of the season and a storm ended up rolling in, but had substantially lightened up once we got to the campground located about 30 mins south of Mammoth towards Bishop. We set up camp, shot some guns, had some beers and food, and enjoyed and overall great time.

Note: This campground is called Pleasant Valley Campground and is located on the 395 about 6 miles north of Bishop. There is no address for it, so I was unable to add the correct spot.
