Description

Added by The Outbound Collective

The loop hike to Taggart Lake in Grand Teton National Park offers amazing views of wildlife including deer, elk, bears, etc. The lake is a peaceful spot for a break and a snack with wonderful views of the Tetons as a backdrop.

This is an easy, four-mile loop hike that doesn't have much of elevation gain. Start off at the Taggart Lake Trailhead. Hike through the forest following a stream until you reach an opening. Continue hiking until you reach the lake. Sit back and enjoy reaching the lake with a snack and some water. Once you're ready to head back, continue on the loop to the the trailhead. If you chose to go clockwise on the trail, you'll have 1.5 miles left.
