Stargaze in Dubois
Dubois, Wyoming
Description
Added by Layne Allison
The stars in this small lonely town at night are breathtaking. I would stay for a few nights just for the stargazing. Hands down the most stars I've ever photographed!
While staying in this small town in Wyoming I made it my mission to capture the gnarliest star picture I have ever taken. Being outside in the pitch black for over two hours the brilliant and magnificent Aurora Borealis made an appearance. It was by far the most breathtaking scenery I have ever witnessed. Out of all the astrophotography I have done this sets itself as number one on the list. Dubois is also an awesome mountain town with many activities like biking, hiking and trout fishing near by. Definitely would recommend to families looking for an awesome family vacation and also to explorers looking for an adventure!
