This has to be one of my favorite places in the entire Wind River Range, if not one of my favorite spots in the world.
To see this basin you'll have to follow the trail starting out of Elkhart Park for about 16 miles. Hike as far back into the basin as you can. The views only get better the further you go back. A long day trip for most, if you're backpacking I suggest staying at Island Lake!
