Teton Crest Trail

This is a four day backpacking trip that starts at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Tram and goes in to the backcountry of Grand Teton National Park. Our day was along the back country to Death Canyon, a picturesque canyon. Our second day was along Deathself which overlooked Death Canyon, into Alaska Basin. We spent our night at Sunset Lake, which as the name suggests has an amazing sunset. The third day we went up Hurricane Pass right by Schoolroom Glacier, and started to walk around the Grand Teton. The view is amazing. We spent the night up by Lake Solitude and went swimming. Once dinner time came around all the day hikers were gone from Lake Solitude and we had it to ourselves. The next day we went over Paintbrush Pass in storm of rain/sheet and 60+ mph wind. It was a lot of fun. We hiked out along Paintbrush Canyon to String lake because our final camping zone was closed because of bear activity.
