Description

Added by Kaitlin Thoresen

Easy 2 mi. hike that take you to beautiful waterfalls. Also a great spot to hop on the North Country trail if you want to a more challenging hike or go backpacking.

I went in the Spring, but it's open year round.

Winter/Spring parking lot puts you at the trail head to get to the falls. Clearly marked trails and lots of signs, except when you're trying to get back to the parking lots. Just take a moment when you get to the loop trail to recognize where you are so you can get back.

Spring was an awesome time to go. It's beautiful to see the ice break up and float down the river.Definitely recommend ice cleats or snowshoes in the Spring.

For history buffs, park has a neat copper mining backgrounds. There are lots of kiosks spread throughout the trail.
