This 20 mile hike featured Multiple Ecosystems. Including Red Creek which has its own red hue of water. ( see picture) I also snuck up on a bear!

I started my 20 mile hike at the Bear Rocks Trailhead at the North end of the Park. It was a great overlook to start off from, with windswept pines and hemlocks scattered around. I hiked across the Northern boundary across the Bear rocks trail and the remainder of Raven Ridge to the opposite side, then turned south past towards the Breathed Mountain Trailhead and Breathed Mountain. At this point I was headed mostly down hill and the forest and surroundings started to change into thicker forest of hemlocks and pine needles. (This is where I met Mr Bear Butt) Towards Rocky Point it became more dense and wet as I walked next to the creek.  Around mile 10, I stopped and slept just before the Rocky Point Trail next to the river, 20 meters before a waterfall. All along the trail were clearly marked campsites with fire pits. Once on the Rocky Point trail there were no campsites until I reached the end near the Red Creek Trail ( It's a good thing I didn't try for the next campsite.. It was the last one until Red Creek Trial) Rocky Point was the toughest part to hike because the trail is scattered stones, making it tougher to walk on. Once I did the loop on Rocky Point and headed north up Red Creek Trail and across Blackbird Knob. I hiked the remainder of the trail on Route 75 Up to Bear Rocks Trailhead. The trail was quite boggy on my trip, but there are other paths around most of the bad spots. There were no Intense climbs on this trip, in fact the whole northern part is quite easy. I made pretty decent time and finished this trip in 24 hours.
