Skyline Lake Snowshoe

3 Miles Total - 1100 ft gain - Out-and-Back Trail

Originally added by Sarina Clark

Spectacular snowshoe hike to a frozen lake and Dr. Suess-esque trees. A true winter wonderland.

This hike shares the same parking lot as the Steven's pass, so get here early to snag a spot. This hike is short and steep. The climb just keeps climbing, but you walk through giant snow covered trees and beautiful outlooks of the peaks around. Get to the lake and hike around and if you're up for it, keep climbing another .25 mile to the "rock garden" and some even better views.
