The Table Mountain Trail in Deming, Washington is a challenging yet rewarding hike. Spanning 3.8 miles round trip, this trail is rated as difficult due to its steep inclines and rocky terrain. The trail begins in a dense forest, gradually ascending to a ridge with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The trail's highlight is the summit of Table Mountain, offering a 360-degree view of the North Cascades. On a clear day, hikers can see Mount Baker and Mount Shuksan in the distance. The trail also features a unique rock formation known as the Table, a flat-topped plateau that gives the mountain its name. Hikers should be prepared for a strenuous climb and bring plenty of water and snacks. The trail is best hiked from July to October when the snow has melted. Despite its difficulty, the Table Mountain Trail offers a rewarding hike with stunning views, making it a must-visit for seasoned hikers.
