If you seek a reward far outweighing the hard work - Sultan, WA to Leavenworth, WA via the Cascade Mountains is your sure bet! This cycle is not for the faint of heart.

Beginning in Sultan, WA you make your way up through the Cascade Mountains (About 5200 elevation gain) to Steven's Pass. From there, an amazing coast for miles through scenic Old Cascade Hwy along the river all the way to the amazing town of Leavenworth, WA.

If you hit the season right (and pending allergies), pollens and flowers shower you as a warm welcome to the quaint and quirky town. If you can master the climb, the coast is just as enjoyable down.
