The Aurora Ridge Trail is a perfect backpacking expedition for experienced hikers looking for a little solitude while enjoying scenic views.

The Aurora Ridge Trail is a 29.5 mile out and back hike that features a river, and is primarily used in the late spring, summer, and early fall. The trail features a river and lots of amazing views of surrounding valleys. The trail is relatively rugged with plant growth. Water supply along the trail depends upon snowpack from winter.
