The Aurora Ridge Trail is a perfect backpacking expedition for experienced hikers looking for a little solitude while enjoying scenic views.
The Aurora Ridge Trail is a 29.5 mile out and back hike that features a river, and is primarily used in the late spring, summer, and early fall. The trail features a river and lots of amazing views of surrounding valleys. The trail is relatively rugged with plant growth. Water supply along the trail depends upon snowpack from winter. An abundance of marmots makes it imperative to have proper wildlife food storage containers. The Aurora Ridge Trail is located in Olympic National Park
