Hike to Corona Arch
Moab, Utah
Description

This 1.5-mile hike to the arch usually ins't too crowded. Corona Arch is home to this famous rope swing video. This hike gets very hot during the summer. Bring plenty of water! Duration: 2 hours.
This is an easy 1.5 mile hike to an amazing arch in Moab that ISN'T in Arches National Park. If you have every seen any “arch swing” videos this is where its done! Hangout under this massive arch without much of a crowd. This should only take a couple of hours round trip depending on hiking speed. The arch offers just about the only shade you will find on the hike, although you will have to move with the sun to keep out of it.
Even though there is a world famous video of people rope swinging off this arch, it’s still considered a low-key spot in Moab. Most people visiting spend their time at The Arches or Canyonlands so you wont run into very many people on this hike. There is just something about standing under a massive arch!
Keep in mind that this hike is extremely hot during the summer months so bring A LOT of water. On the trail, there will be waypoints along the trail to help you find your way to the arch.

Hike to Corona Arch Reviews
1.5 mile hike in on a great trail, totally worth checking it out and less crowded then arches NP.

This is a fairly easy hike with an amazing arch at the end. The trail is pretty easy to follow. The best part is that there are not very many other people here because it isn't in Arches National Park.

This hike is short and pretty easy to navigate. It took about 20-30 minutes to hike to the arch and it was well worth it. The arch is massive and impressive and definitely on par with Arches' arches. Like others have posted, if this was in the national park it would be a much busier hike but since it's not you can enjoy more solitude!

I enjoyed Corona Arch far more than the hikes in Arches National Park, mainly due to the amount of people that are in the park. This hike gets much less traffic and is much more enjoyable!

This was my favorite hike in all of Moab. It can be a little hard to follow at times but other than that it's amazing. The ladders and climbing that is required makes this even more fun.

It's not one of the most photographic arches in the area, but it's definitely one of the most stunning. Just walking under its massive height reminds you of scale of time this area took to form.
