Wake up steps away from the canyon edge and enjoy the stunning views of the La Sal Mountains and Long Canyon. No 4x4 required!

Whether you prefer camping under the stars with just a bag and pad or glamping in a fifth-wheel, this spot on the mesa above Long Canyon is a breath of fresh air from the generally crowded BLM spots down Potash or UT-128.

To get here, head down the road towards Canyonlands and take a left towards Dead Horse State Park. About 1.5 miles after making that left, you'll see a dirt road veer left. Take that for about 3 miles. It's a washboard road but you don't need a 4x4 to get through it. After 3 miles on this road, you'll start to see a few spots on the left and right. I suggest finding one on the left - right on the canyon edge. Find an empty spot and take a look around to find the perfect camp.
