The reason Bryce Canyon is so incredible is because of the parks accessibility. No matter where you set up camp (3 large campgrounds), a trailhead is nearby. There is also a fully loaded campground store in case you forget crucial supplies, although you will spend extra on them, and a lodge that serves great food if you so desire. In total, I spent around 4.5-5 hours hiking from Inspiration Point to Sunrise Point. There are a variety of different trails ranging in length, that make it possible for any visitor to enjoy the park, no matter your skill level!
Starting at Inspiration Point and hiking to Sunrise Point is very easy and does not include hardly any elevation gain or descend. Because of this, I found it necessary to drop down into the Amphitheater to really ramp up the total time I would be hiking in and around Bryce Canyon. There are a handful of trails (Navajo, Queen Gardens, etc) that break off the main path inside Bryce Canyon. If you have the time, I highly recommend spending a large majority of your day hiking everywhere inside of the amphitheater between Inspiration and Sunrise Point. The further you hike away from the lodge, the better (and less crowded) the trail will be!
