Only happens once a year, but you are rewarded with once in a lifetime views! I truly believe that even though it's advertised, it's a sudden gem in Utah.

The festival happens at the end of January each year. The Bluff balloon festival takes place in Bluff, Utah near Monument Valley. Usually one morning during the weekend-long event the balloons fly over the Valley of the Gods and it is a spectacular site to see! There's something about bright colored balloons against the red rock that is mesmerizing. The community of Bluff also has a great website with information on festivals, lodging, etc.www.bluffutah.org
