Taking advantage of the beautiful views in the Lowry Open Space. Amazing for sunset views!

We ended up seeing 3 manatees while paddling along the creek! Such a calm and peaceful experience. Didn’t take too long, but worth the about 1.5 hour drive from the Tampa Bay area. The springs are right there too, so great for a warm summer day.

Views at the top were incredible. There was a part of the trail closed and instead we were led down some pretty steep and scary cliffsides to boulder down (or up, depending on which way you came from). Worth it though.

This trail starts at the Jordan Pond House (which by the way, has an awesome gift shop with everything blueberry), and wraps around the lake. Part boardwalk, part gravel, and part climbing over some pretty big rocks in the water. The boardwalk area is pretty narrow, with little side step areas to let people pass, but it can get pretty cowded with large groups. This trail breaks off into the Bubbles trail, if interrsted in that detour!

LOVED this trail! So much fun, and connects to so many awesome parts of the park. We parked right near the Gorham Mountain trail head, but if no availability you can easily park by the beach path and walk on over. The trail was very well marked, and the views were incredible. No bouldering or climbing rocks, a consistent push up the mountain.

Dunkerhood to Ridgewood Duck Pond loop. Lots of parking available, and paved paths for walking, biking and running! Lots of trees starting to bloom. Ridgewood Duck Pond also has a dog park!

So beautiful! Did this trail in July and the wildflowers were in full bloom. Trail was well marked. Gorgeous lake at the top. We stopped, ate lunch, and watched all the dogs play in the water before heading back to the parking lot :)

The most beautiful hike I’ve ever done. Definitely not for the faint of heart - some narrow sections with only a rope to hold onto along a cliff, but absolutely worth it. I only did about three miles of this trail due to timing, but views begin the moment you head onto the trail. Popular trail so keep in mind for parking.

The trail starts right off a main road, with a little gravel parking patch that can fit about 5 cars. It’s a nice walking trail, no pets allowed. It is very much a dirt path, so while elevation wise it’s flat, the path itself is very bumpy with roots cutting across and lkttle bridged, so you need to be mindful of where you’re stepping. I don’t think, at least in the winter when I’m sure it’s not as busy or maintained, it’s stroller friendly. You actually get to see the farm, with the various plants they’re working on growing, which is pretty cool! Excited to come back when everything is in full bloom and it’s warmer.

Did this hike in fall of 2024. Was SO worth it. The view at the top was unbelieveable. Easy to find, after driving a couple of miles up some winding mountain roads. Elevation gain was not bad at all. At the top there was a rock ledge where people were eating lunch and taking a break before heading back down. Awesome little excursion if in the Saratoga/Lake George area!

Nice little local park with a loop around a lake, dog park, and playground! Very easy and short loop. Decent amount of people out in the cold enjoying the sunny day! Recent ice and snow was cleared off the path, so it wasn’t slippery at all. Two decent sized parking lots as well, so plenty of space!

This is my all time favorite suburban trail that grants you an unbeatable view of the Rocky Mountains, Denver, and surrounding areas. Although a decent sized lot, parking can be tricky when busy and tends to fill up fast. It’s not a place people stay for hours though, so usually a decent amount of people coming and going as they finish up their walk. A couple of benches at the top. When no one is there, great place to read, relax, and take in the views.

Such an awesome stop if near Steamboat Springs. In the winter, it felt like a winter wonderland with all the fresh snow! So beautiful, with changing cabins and bathrooms. Such a fun adventure - a must see if able!
