This tax is collected in pesos by your hotel at check-in (approx USD$2 per person per night). The hotel will provide a receipt and this should be carried with you to avoid being charged again if visiting the Brazil side of Iguazu Falls.Note: A Brazil visa is required for passport holders from a number of countries.
Morning half day tour of falls on Argentine side
This morning you will undertake a sightseeing tour of the Argentinian side of the falls. The temperature is always pleasant at this time of day, and there are lots of birds and coati mundis (a cousin of the bear surprisingly - but looks more like a possum!) in the forests near the falls. Set in a lush rain forest, there are more than twenty-five different cataracts – some small, some absolutely massive. The largest of all is the Boca or Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat). The evening is at leisure to relax.
