We Have Less Than 24 Hours to Take Action: Help Protect the Antiquities Act

The Antiquities Act is under serious threat on a VERY tight deadline.

By: The Outbound Collective + Save to a List

Rep Bishop (UT) introduced the “National Monument Creation and Protection Act”, a bill that threatens America’s lands, waters, culturally and historically significant places, and wildlife habitats.

This was fast-tracked and immediately scheduled for a vote on October 11th. That's TOMORROW. So, if you want to take action and help protect our public lands, we need to get loud now.

The Outdoor Industry Association published this alert, which includes a list of the rep phone numbers to reach out to. (If you are viewing this on your cell phone, you may unfortunately have issues accessing the phone numbers on the OIA website. They are working to fix the issue, but in the meantime, please visit the website on your computer for full access to the list of phone numbers.)

And the OIA tweet you can RT or copy/paste is here

Please contact your reps, and spread the call to action. Feel free to screenshot and use the image below on social media (and tag OIA so we can amplify).

Here is an article from The Hill about H.R. 3990 and what it means.
