Guidelines & Eligibility:
This Residency program is explicitly for creatives from the outdoor industry's historically excluded and minoritized communities. To be considered for selection you must complete an online application. You must be a US resident to apply.

Why is this program limited to underrepresented communities?
We're prioritizing our industry's historically excluded and minoritized communities because we need to do a better job of elevating and amplifying their voices. There is no shortage of white male, cisgender, enabled, ultra-fit mountain domination. Our goal is to build a better, more inclusive home for the modern outdoors, where everyone is welcome and feels represented. And we want to get there sooner rather than later. This is another step in that direction.

This program was made possible by the support of our Preferred Partners.

We want to acknowledge and thank the past, present, and future generations of all Native Nations and Indigenous Peoples whose ancestral lands we travel, explore, and play on. Always practice Leave No Trace ethics on your adventures and follow local regulations. Please explore responsibly!

Do you love the outdoors?

Yep, us too. That's why we send you the best local adventures, stories, and expert advice, right to your inbox.
