A Desert Oasis Designed For Adventure

Red rocks, desert views, and adventures await.

What is it about Zion National Park that draws people from around the world? We think perhaps it's the towering cliffs, in every imaginable color of red, rising straight out of the banks of the Virgin River. Or maybe it's the daredevil hiking on Angel's Landing and the slot-canyon paradise that is The Narrows. For some, it could be the miles of desert singletrack right outside the park, beckoning mountain bikers and trail runners alike.

Whatever it is, we totally get it. We love Zion National Park, too. But we also love a quiet, restful place to enjoy the landscape, and those are hard to come by near this popular park. That is until we found Under Canvas® Zion.

Under Canvas® Zion is located on 196 acres bordering Zion National Park, and offers a glamping experience that brings the comforts of home to the beauty of the desert. Each canvas tent is fully equipped with bed(s) topped with luxurious linens. There are bathrooms and hot showers (a rare luxury in the desert, as far as we're concerned!), and some tents have private decks and skylight windows to gaze at the stars as you fall asleep. Every room has spectacular views of the cliffs, canyons, and desert landscape Zion is famous for.

The property is close enough to Zion National Park to make exploring easy, but also far enough away that you'll avoid the crowds. Plus, if you're into off-the-beaten-path adventures, the area has them in spades. Canyoneering, hot air ballooning, UTV/ATV guided trips, safari tours...they are all right there.

Under Canvas® Zion is all about blending into the surrounding environment, allowing their guests to experience the landscape and connect with each other without losing creature comforts. The camp uses a minimal amount of electricity and is powered entirely by solar. Low-flow designs in the bathrooms and kitchen reduce water use, and the property is aiming to be zero-waste by 2021.

Whether you're at Zion to see the sites, or to escape from the ordinary, Under Canvas® Zion provides a quiet and beautiful place to relax, unwind, and connect.

We want to acknowledge and thank the past, present, and future generations of all Native Nations and Indigenous Peoples whose ancestral lands we travel, explore, and play on. Always practice Leave No Trace ethics on your adventures and follow local regulations. Please explore responsibly!
