The Rock Shelter Trail is a .7 mile hike in McKinney Falls State Park.
This trail is perfect for families and all skill levels. The trail allows dogs, and has a few unique caves to explore. In the spring, wildflowers are abundant. This hike meanders past natural rock formations that was historically used as a shelter by Native Americans. When the water is flowing, this is also a great swimming hole.
