This trail descends into the river gorge then takes you up to the falls, with a few switchbacks and a good amount of wading. If you would rather avoid navigating the water, there is an overlook of the falls less than a half mile in.

Once you've reached the river, you will turn left for a .25 mile stretch of wading (up to the knees, potentially) to the falls, where there is a popular swimming pool. Come prepared for slippery and uneven terrain!
