Rosebrock Park - Live Oak Trail

There are several different things you can do here. Tour the gardens, boat tour, tram tour, Audubon tour, plantation tour, etc. There is a lot to see and it's a very enchanting place during the spring through summer. View birds nesting and flowers blooming! 

Angel Oak Park is located just 12 miles from downtown Charleston, so it makes for a great mini trip if you're already visiting the beautiful area. Fort Sumter is a sea fort out on an island in the middle of Charleston Harbor and is a great place to visit if you like history and/or exploring ruins.  The National Park Service collaborates with Fort Sumter Tours, so you will have to book a boat tour with this company to visit the fort. This rustic concrete path overlooks the ocean views. As you walk on this path you will come across camera-toting tourists, horse drawn carriages and incredible Charleston architecture.
